Dr. Nunez-Burgos received his medical training at Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre Y Maestra (PUCMM) Medical School in the Dominican Republic and his residency in Internal Medicine at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, Brooklyn, New York. For the past seven years, he has worked for the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) caring for patients in the UTMB Webster Primary Care Clinic where he was medical director and assistant professor. He is board certified in internal medicine and his clinical interests include management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, as well as behavioral health (depression and anxiety).

Dr Vanessa Kwok received her BA from Barnard College, and her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She and her husband relocated from Southern California to the Seattle area with their three children. Their daughter is in elementary school and their twin boys are excited to become Huskies and begin their studies at the University of Washington this fall.

Alix is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who finds joy, fulfillment, and purpose helping people learn about and improve their mental health. She graduated from Boston University School of Medicine with her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine. She is known for teaching her clients about the brain, providing education about mental health and various coping skills, and taking an actionable, solution-oriented approach to wellness. She joins Kinwell with excitement to work in an integrated care setting where she can help patients cope with both mental health and medical concerns.
Alix is based in Kinwell’s Mill Creek clinic and sees patients regionally through online appointments over your computer or smart device.
