From Aurora Ave. N, head north across the Aurora Bridge • Take the second exit and proceed to N 46th St. • Turn left onto N 46th St. and proceed west as 46th transition to NW Market St. • Descend into Ballard and continue west on NW Market Street. • Turn left onto 14th Ave. NW and proceed south. • The clinic is located at the northwest corner of 14th and NW 46th St.
Parking is available in the Ballard Blocks garage free of charge.

Dr. Kwatra received her BA degree in psychology from The Ohio State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She went on to receive her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and she completed her Internal Medicine residency training with Western Reserve Health Education/NEOMED where she served as Chief Resident. She is published in academic journals and has presented at medical conferences within the United States as well as internationally. Dr. Kwatra is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and she is passionate about wellness, preventative medicine, and geriatrics. She is experienced in ambulatory care, inpatient medicine, nursing home care, and teaching.

Chris Borgia, DNP, ARNP

Chris Borgia earned his Bachelor of Nursing Science from Johns Hopkins University and his Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Washington. Before joining Kinwell, he worked as an RN in the emergency department at Swedish Medical Center in Ballard and later as a nurse practitioner with Neighborcare Health in Seattle.

Nawaf Alfaouri, DNP

Nawaf Alfaouri received his BA in geographic information systems, mapping and society, with a focus in aeronautics and remote sensing technologies at the University of Washington. He pursued a career of integrating technology into medicine to solve medical equity problems, then received his Doctor of Nursing Practice at Seattle University. Alfaouri has practiced as a family nurse practitioner serving all age groups in the fields of family medicine, refugee health, women’s health, LGBTQIA+ health, and adult medicine. He went on to practice inpatient internal medicine to fully encompass the tools to care for his patients across their care continuum. Alfaouri provides full-service primary care and lifestyle medicine for patients of all ages, and is passionate in empowering his patients to achieve their health goals.

Alix Jansma, LMHC

"I look forward to providing active listening and mental health education to each of my patients in order to help them achieve optimal wellness."
Alix is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who finds joy, fulfillment, and purpose helping people learn about and improve their mental health. She graduated from Boston University School of Medicine with her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine. She is known for teaching her clients about the brain, providing education about mental health and various coping skills, and taking an actionable, solution-oriented approach to wellness. She joins Kinwell with excitement to work in an integrated care setting where she can help patients cope with both mental health and medical concerns.
Alix is based in Kinwell’s Mill Creek clinic and sees patients regionally through online appointments over your computer or smart device.
