The new year will bring several new faces to Kinwell clinics across Washington. Kinwell’s focus on the quality of care delivered, rather than the quantity of patients seen, has attracted outstanding doctors (MD, DO), nurse practitioners (ARNP), and physician assistants (PAC). All are now accepting new patients.
Terry Gallagher, ARNP, Denny Way
Dr. Terry Gallagher has a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Science from University of Illinois at Chicago, a Master of Science in Nursing from DePaul University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from RUSH University. She is board certified in family medicine. Originally from Chicago, Gallagher has experience in community health addressing health disparities in under-served populations.
Elaine Kow, PA-C, Renton
Elaine Kow is a certified physician assistant who received her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at the University of Washington and later pursued her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Marist College in New York. She is passionate in building strong, trusting relationships with her patients so they feel supported in their journey to better health.
Jaden Harris, PA-C, Bellingham
Jaden Harris, Certified Physician Assistant, has practiced in Washington since graduating from the Physician Assistant program at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in her home state of Texas. She aims to be a trusted resource for patients of all ages in the greater Bellingham and northwestern Washington area.
Mercy Lovelace, DNP, North Country Homes
Mercy Lovelace received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, her Master of Science in Nursing from Purdue University, and her doctorate degree with a focus on family medicine from Purdue University. Lovelace has a passion for providing primary care for all ages, preventive medicine, behavioral healthcare, lifestyle medicine, and weight management.
Phumeza Msikinya, MD, Bellingham
Dr. Phumeza Msikinya received her medical degree with high honors from Ross University School of Medicine in Florida and completed her residency in family medicine at Indiana University. Among her special interests are developing treatment plans with patients experiencing chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and congestive heart failure.
Andrea Munder, RNP, Pasco
Andrea Munder is a dedicated nurse practitioner with over 9 years of experience in family practice. She graduated summa cum laude from Washington State University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and received her master’s degree in nursing from Gonzaga University. She is board-certified in family medicine. Before joining Kinwell, Andrea practiced in Washington and Arizona, managing primary care in many different settings.
Marvin Roman, MD, Pasco
Marvin Roman received his medical degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at Akron General Medical Center in Ohio. He is board-certified in family medicine and obesity medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Roman has practiced in the Tri-Cities for over ten years with experience in urgent and primary care settings.
Carla Vasquez Santos, MD, Denny Way
Dr. Carla Vazquez Santos is a board-certified internal medicine physician in the greater Seattle area with over 8 years of clinical experience. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico, graduating summa cum laude in 2010 with highest GPA distinction. She later obtained her medical degree in 2014 from University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed a Global Medicine Fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Shika Shah, MD, Lynnwood
Dr. Shah is a board-certified family medicine physician. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree from Texas Tech University. Dr. Shah completed her residency in family medicine at Memorial Hermann Health System, one of the top ranked healthcare facilities in Texas. Dr. Shah believes that medicine is an art as much as a science and that treatment plans need to be patient centered.
