Kinwell – East Wenatchee

Kinwell welcomes new clinicians in Spokane and East Wenatchee this month. Advanced primary care starts with access, and growing our care teams around the state means more convenient appointment options for Premera Blue Cross and LifeWise health plan members.

East Wenatchee

Nurse Practitioner Valerie Wintler joins Kinwell’s location in East Wenatchee. Wintler grew up in the Wenatchee Valley, graduating from Cashmere High School, and attended Gonzaga University where she attained her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2009. In 2010, she moved to Denver, Colorado, where she worked as a nurse and completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree through Regis University. She returned “home” to the Valley in 2019 and most recently practiced with Confluence Health. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, hiking, biking, camping, and attending live music events/concerts. She looks forward to seeing long-time patients and welcome new patients in East Wenatchee.

Downtown Spokane

Behavioral health clinician James Ellis joins Kinwell’s 6th and Washington clinic in downtown Spokane. Ellis received his bachelors degree at Montana State University and went on to receive a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gonzaga University. He is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in Washington state as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with the National Board for Certified Counselors. Prior to joining Kinwell, Ellis practiced at the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic and CHAS Health in Spokane.
