This summer, Premera Blue Cross is bringing important mammogram screenings to neighborhoods in western Washington. Kinwell is in-network for Premera members and patients can be screened at the locations below. More information, including hours of operation, will be available as these screening dates approach.
A mammogram screening is the most effective way to detect signs of breast cancer early when it can be more effectively treated. Women over the age of 40 are advised to have a mammogram every two years. These screenings may be recommended at younger ages or more frequently, depending on a variety of factors including a family history of breast cancer.

Be sure to provide the name of your Kinwell clinician so the results are sent to them. New mammography images are compared to previous screenings. Have previous screenings sent to your clinician so they can make this comparison and discuss the results with you.
