Kinwell Primary Care welcomes more clinicians in April. Our model of care attracts clinicians who embrace a less hurried approach to primary care. We prioritize the quality of service and creating an environment where patients are seen and heard. All our clinics welcome new patients who are Premera Blue Cross or LifeWise Health Plan of Washington members. Our Spokane Valley clinic is now open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Thursday, and 7:00 am to 5:30 pm on Fridays.
Marciano Capati, MD – Mill Creek
Raised in Hawaii, Marciano Capati earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of California, San Diego. He went on to earn his medical degree from the Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation in Manila, Philippines, and completed his residency at the Central Washington Family Medicine Residency program in Yakima, Washington. He has fifteen years of experience practicing family medicine in Washington state. In his free time, Dr. Capati loves to get outdoors with his family. Christine Luu, MD – Ballard
Christine Luu is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides primary care for patients of all ages and genders. She enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients and strives to deliver care that is holistic, patient-centered, and grounded in shared decision-making. Dr. Luu was born and raised in the Seattle area and completed her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Washington, followed by residency training at the University of Washington Family Medicine Residency. Laura Mitchell, PsyD – Ballard
Dr. Mitchell is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience supporting patients at every stage of life. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Southampton, England, and completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Oxford, England. Dr. Mitchell practiced for several years in the United Kingdom before relocating to the United States in 2023. Before joining Kinwell, she worked with individuals managing the psychological impact of complex medical conditions and provided care in general pediatrics and autism services. Anukrati Shukla, MD – Redmond
Dr. Anukrati Shukla is a board-certified internist and obesity medicine physician committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Dr. Shukla earned her medical degree from Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences, Karnataka, India, and completed her internal medicine residency at Columbia University of New York-Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, New York. Dr. Shukla has served on the Board of Trustees for the Washington State Medical Association (WSMA) and previously chaired the young physician section at WSMA. She is committed to promoting patient safety and advancing medical education. Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Shukla enjoys hiking in the alpine wilderness of the Pacific Northwest.
