4-6 large apples

8 oz bag of dried figs (stems removed)

4 oz of dried dates (pitted)

2 cups of walnuts

1 cups of almonds

1/2 cup of maple syrup

1 cup rolled oats

1 lemon

2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

1 teaspoon Cinnamon

½ teaspoon Nutmeg

½ teaspoon Ginger

Heat the oven to 400 degrees.

Core and slice the apples. The thinner the slices, the faster the bake time.

In a mixer, combine the nuts, figs, dates, and drizzle of maple syrup. Blend to a dough-like consistency.

In a separate bowl, mix the cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, and the remaining maple syrup.

Line the bottom of a tart tin or cheesecake pan with parchment paper. Spread and pack the fig dough into the bottom of the tin. Arrange the slices of apples over the dough and pour the cinnamon syrup on top of the apples.

Bake this for 10-12 minutes or until the crust and apples brown.
